Hi!
I haven’t forgotten about you, I’m just having a koo-koo-kachoo week. I Smacked down and everything tonight, but now either my memory card reader or USB port is being non-cooperative so I have no pictures of the roasted pear beignets with rum caramel sauce I made. I guess I could connect the camera to the computer, but that would require finding the appropriate cord, which is easier said than done in an apartment that has been thoroughly reorganized for “staging” purposes.
I’m going to attempt the time-tested repair system known as “turn everything off and turn it on again in the morning,” at which point I assume we’ll be back in business.
I don’t feel right leaving you with nothing, so here’s a picture of Felix I took with my phone. You’re welcome.
What have y’all been up to?
Lovely to see Felix. My dogs are Tonto and Kato; Tonto is camera shy. We can only get a picture of his face when he is messy beyond belief, so that one is prone to say, “are you SURE there is a dog in there?”
Had similar problems with my computer system last week; it took going to TWO new modems and many hours of my life wasted with tech support. It should be illegal to name a group or organization for a function they do not even attempt to perform. Same thing for naming legislative bills, PACs, Charities. Truth in naming!
Best of luck in the re-plug everything; it usually works.
I think this could be labeled: “TNS, Alternative Universe” rather than failure.
Since I came to work without having breakfast first, and find that the food I keep in the freezer for such occasions has been stolen by the douchbag salesman, I’m ok with not looking at food pics.
Dog is a bonus!
Awww! Felix!
I also would have traded in for a picture of your staged apartment. I’ve never seen an actual staged place before. Does it feel like you’re living in a hotel?
@melissa, not quite; at least it’s still our furniture. but all the walls are bare and half the books are packed up. it’s depressingly austere.
Awww, Felix is a cutie! 🙂 Old English Sheepdog? I find myself taking pictures of my dog when I’m stressed so that I can look at them when I need some love 🙂
@miserichik, yup, an OES. living in a city apartment and getting an OES = GENIUS.
