It’s the barbecue highlight of our year.
We drove 20 miles up the beach to a little shack, where the air is heavy with flies and smoke.
With a little dog named Bear, who was our navigator.
And got the best East Carolina-style barbecue there is to be had.
Truly, vacation is now complete.
Ugh! I didn’t get to have them all summer. I am so envious of your trip.
