Just as soon as my blackberry patch ripens…..

anna, ooh, lucky. i’d be making one every week.
kay, you must. the original, blueberry version kicks a lot of ass, too.

randy, thanks. and for the next two weeks, it’s buy one get one free.

Wordless comment: Mmmmmm
oh boy, i’ve never had a buckle turn out that solid! i usually pour in the batter and sprinle the fruit all over the top. asi ti bakes it encases the fruits in a hot and inescapable embrace and the fruit releases its juices all into the batter. it never really comes out of the pan, i just scoop it out. i love the crumble!
oddly enough, the same day i made a blackberry crumble with the blackberries from the secret wild blackberry stash we found mwahaha
karen, that sounds a lot like the noise i made when i ate it.
vera, i’ve only ever made them with a stiff batter, but then i’ve only ever used the CI recipe.
