I’ve never heard of the shoe “Chopping Block”, but I’ll watch your blog – just loved Top Chef with you !

I am a bit puzzled by your admonition not to “say anythingI wouldn’t say,” becasue it seems like you say pretty much everything!

    How about an example? 😉

    Keep up the good blogging!

One of the 59 percent who doesn’t know the show….but then, I don’t do TV much. It was fun to read the Top Chef blog w/o seeing the show, though.

Watch the show and find it somewhat irritating…I actually am a trained Chef (kind of) with a culinary degree (from the worst community college in the world)so I find it fascinating in a sick kind of way. I work in the worst dive bar I could find, and enjoy laughing at the mindset which could come up with such an asinine show. Watch it and you will see…

    deb, aww.

IANAC, it’s true. i think it might have been a part of them theme that i never changed. either that, or i issued it as a challenge.

kay, i’d never heard of it either until i watched ER last night. i thought the other food folk might be more up on things.

brian, are you thinking of “chopped” on the food network? according to NBC, this show premieres next week.

maybe i’ll try the premiere, and abandon it if it seems too lame.

Sorry, you’re right! This is what I get for commenting while drunk. If you write it, we’ll read it!

What’s the meaning of this?

Once upon a time, I wrote this food blog. It was a pretty great blog, if I do say so myself. I don't write it any more, but all the recipes and hijinx remain available for your cooking and reading pleasure.

If I seem fun (hint: I am!), you can find me writing these days at King of States! and taking pictures at Pictures of Things.

Looking for me? I’m around.
