It looks like either some form of yeast left in liquid to “grow” or whatever it does. Eat?
OR – the top of a drink like one of those instant hot chocolates. But the angle is a bit wrong to be taking a photo of such a liqud.

That definitely looks like something I’ve scraped off a pan after trying to cook or bake something.
A melon past its prime.
Broiled Mozzarella cheese…seasoned with cinnamon.
At first I thought, burnt pizza or bubbling brown rice risotto.
Then – kind of like when you pour the cream mixture into the hot sugar mixture when making caramels. It bubbles up like mad at first, so that shot looks like when it has almost settled.
Injera?
Although…it is kind of looking like coffee foam too.
Food wise it does look like burnt marshmallows or pecan pie, but it really looks like the gift my dog left for me on the carpet the other day.

I thought it was honeycomb candy. Mine came out burnt and dead when I made it…. I’m not a candy-maker.
