Actually, I suppose I can’t really mutiny against myself. I just wanted to make everything sound more dramatic. You know my flair for the theatrical. ACTING! GENIUS! THANK YOU!
If you’re an avid TNS reader, you might have noticed my complete lack of being here. Truth be told, I’m no longer sure I want or need to keep TNS alive.
I realize that I may still be in the honeymoon period of having a job that engages my creativity and that I love, so for now, I’m just gonna say that TNS is on hiatus through the end of 2012. I miss all you crazy kids, but my heart doesn’t seem to be in TNS right now. It’s not you, it’s me. Unlike every other time you’ve ever heard that, it is NOT A LIE.
I’m posting pretty frequently over at my new site, King of States! – short posts about whatever. If you need a fix, please, come join me there for now.
Hugs and kisses, you awesome nutjobs.
This post is a unique and delicate snowflake - there are NO RELATED POSTS...yet....
They were all lying to me?!
Basically this is awesome news. Not that you aren’t missed. But that you’re actually getting paid real bucks to do your work. Congratulations!
I have been going there for my fix… but it’s kinda like methodone.
I am truly happy for you though! I’ll just wean myself and try to avoid major withdrawal by hitting King of States.
WAAAAAAAAAH!!!
sadness, but i’m glad you’re enjoying your new job. have fun!
Will miss your acerbity and cynicism.christ that was prentious, you get my drift.
@mandy, there is acid a-plenty at king of states!
*sob* *sniff* How I used to eagerly anticipate Friday mornings! I have already been reading your NJ snippets. I’m not one of those New Yorkers who can make fun of NJ all of the time since I spend most of my weekends in your great state. Saddened by not seeing your wicked knife skills at work. Still wishing you well on new and better things.
Well, I know we’ll survive without you, but it ain’t gonna be easy. I do love the new blog, though, so I’ll still get my humor fix, even if there’s no food involved. I’s so glad the new job is working out so well; it’s not often that we find exactly what we want to do and actually get paid for doing it! I’ll keep following you on King of States, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll have a change of heart about TNS…
