how did you get your turkey so dark and crispy looking?

jesi, the turkey was smoked, hence the dark skin. and yes, the round dealies are delicious, delicious sweet potatoes.
Ah, sweet potatoes. At first I was all, SCALLOPS! IN A ROASTING PAN! ON THANKSGIVING! But of course they are sweet potatoes. Gorgeous.
Now I miss Thanksgiving food. I didn’t miss it until I saw this post. So jealous…
