   how did you get your turkey so dark and crispy looking?
   and what are the round dealies? sweet potatoes? very caramelized and yummy looking sweet potatoes?

    jesi, the turkey was smoked, hence the dark skin. and yes, the round dealies are delicious, delicious sweet potatoes.

    Ah, sweet potatoes. At first I was all, SCALLOPS! IN A ROASTING PAN! ON THANKSGIVING! But of course they are sweet potatoes. Gorgeous.
