me: i like to cook. i like to cuss. i do both with great gusto every thursday night, as i take on a new recipe from my ever-expanding cookbook collection and attempt to bend it to my iron will. in between, look out for original recipes, restaurant reviews, food related musings and more. fucking A!

Yeah, I’m tired. So what?
Large pizza = $10. 2 people @ 2 slices each, $5. Take that.

July 7th, 2008 at 9:34 pmNicely done… and even tastier than the hot dog combo meal at Sams Club.

July 8th, 2008 at 11:58 amWell done!
And a $10 pizza to boot. Hope it was good.

July 8th, 2008 at 2:04 pmHow did you only get four slices out of a large pizza? Just cut in in quarters I assume, but those musta been some big ass slices.
I’m hungry for pizza now too. Luckily there’s a great pizza place almost across the street from me, but no ten dollar pizzas there. Hell no…BUT they have some great combos, wood-fired oven, the works. SOOOO good. Now I’ve just got to find somebody to go with me, maybe more than one somebody, they’re huge pizzas. I want one of their amazing salads too.
BTW…love your blog. Short and sweet, but your points are always made. Leave ‘em hungry.

rebecca, i couldn’t find a pizza cheap enough to let me include the beer in the $5 limit. well, i could, but it wasn’t a pizza i particularly wanted to eat.
carolina, it was 8 slices; we ate half and saved the other 4. and thanks! glad you like it here.

July 9th, 2008 at 9:44 amWhere did you find that delicious looking pizza in Jersey City? And for ten dollars to boot? We can’t seem to find a good one…
michelle
July 9th, 2008 at 10:23 amcarly, it’s from esperanto’s on jersey ave. they don’t make the best pizza i’ve ever had, but they do imbue their pies with highly addictive chemicals that make you crave them fortnightly.
at least, that’s the only explanation i can think of for why i always order from them.

July 9th, 2008 at 1:17 pmI’ll take it (waving arms in air like mad woman after eating unsatisfying salad for lunch)…
