susan: i'm glad i'm not alone! thanks. marc: heh. although, the mcmuffin will always have a special place in my heart. anticiplate: traditionally, sliders are tiny burgers that have been steamed; nowadays, any mini-burger gets slapped with the name. a moroccan spiced version sounds yum-tastic. emiline: i think i understand? but maybe not. also, people are fucking weird. PE: i feel such a sense of peace now that i know the answer to "what would jesus do?" he would choose these onions. pam: yay! i'm glad you liked it.

Nice presentation with the food in the basket.
We keep butters in baskets like that at work, and sometimes people take out the butters and put their food in them, to eat.
Does that make sense? It probably doesn’t.

Anyway, I love the idea of a mini burger on a biscuit.

I have heard these mini-burgers being called “sliders”. I am actually making some “sliders” tonight with moroccan spices and fingerling potato chips. I am NOT making my own biscuit buns though. A for effort:)

shandy: thanks! i'm trying to work on my photos. also, i'm pretty sure i could think of something to do with 27 vanilla beans if i had to. linda: thanks! i live to amuse. mary: aw, shucks. i do what i can. espresso: i didn't think it was possible to hate biscuits! i have to lump biscuit-haters into the same bizarro camp as cilantro-haters, i'm afraid to say. ley: i thought the biscuits would be a little weird - just too much, especially since you can't really squish 'em down like buns - but they actually tasted great and i would definitely make them again for these burgers. jodi: i know all about you and jam, so i'm not letting you near my peach jam. rachel: i don't know, is it a little dorky that i just got way too excited to read that you look forward to reading me? because i really did. heather: i might have scarfed the rest of the biscuits later that night with more of the yummy butter and jam. but i might also be making more biscuits tomorrow morning. shari: that cindy pawlcyn knows what she's talking about. i'm definitely putting her book into regular rotation.
